Electric Vehicles in Saskatchewan:
A presentation from two local EV owners that take a closer look at owning an electric vehicle in one of the coldest places on earth. This presentation will cover EV functionality, costs, environmental impact, and the EV community in Saskatchewan.
Tyler Krause, PEng. - is the president of the Tesla Owners Club of Saskatchewan. He purchased a Tesla Model 3 in September 2018 and founded the owners club shortly after. Tyler lives in Saskatoon with his Fiance Melanie, and works as a structural engineer at Rempel Engineering and is a partner at Kappaco Films.
Jason Cruickshank - founded SaskEV in October, 2017 while his family was still searching for their first electric vehicle. Since then he’s acted as the groups lead organizer speaking with local and national media outlets, managing events across central Saskatchewan and contributing to policy discussions locally and nationally through the EV Society. Jason drives a 2017 Chevy Bolt EV and lives in Martensville with his wife Alix and daughter Emma. He works as a Datacenter Administrator with ProjectLine Solutions in Saskatoon.
