An Update on Saskatoon’s Climate Change Initiatives
Want to hear about what is going on with climate change at the City of Saskatoon? The EMTF will be hearing from two of the city’s experts who will share their ongoing progress and plans on addressing climate change in Saskatoon. In particular, the presentations will focus on emissions and energy-related initiatives.

Join the discussion and hear about the progress made in the city we know and love.

Kristin Bruce is originally from a small town in south eastern Saskatchewan. She moved to Saskatoon in 2006 to complete a Bachelor of Psychology degree followed by a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Saskatchewan. Since then she has stayed on to work in the Strategic & Business Planning, Roadways & Operations and Sustainability divisions. She is currently the Project Manager for Corporate Climate Change Adaptation. Prior to her role with the City of Saskatoon, Kristin completed contract roles with Agriculture and Agri-food Canada in the Climate Decision and Adaptation Support Unit and the Global Institute for Water Security under the Socio-hydrology theme.

Hilary Carlson is born and raised in Saskatoon, SK. She is an Alumna of the Edwards school of business where she completed her Bachelors of Commerce and Masters in professional accounting degrees. She also recently obtained her CPA designation. Hilary started with the City of Saskatoon in July 2018 as the Project Manager for the Low Emissions Community Plan in the Sustainability Division.
