“Moving towards Continuous Commissioning" by Ken Coutu, PEng.
The University of Saskatchewan faces some unique challenges with its building energy managemant and maintenance. To help with this, Energy Management Information Systems (EMIS) and Fault Detection and Diagnosis (FDD) software is being used to uncover energy savings and operational issues. Examples will be shown. A plan for using current EMIS and FDD experience to move towards Continuous Comissioning will also be presented.
